Count The Many Ways The U.S. Is A Mess
In the age of Donald Trump, one of the many reasons the US is a mess and the world's on the brink is because major players like senator Ted Cruz seem to have only ONE directive: Protect Donald Trump!
SO, HELLO WORLD...
If I had to start the day with a rhyme, it would be this:
There's a mess in the U.S.
Military troops are on American streets firing flash bang grenades and tear gas canisters at fellow Americans - even those protesting peacefully.
United States lawmakers are being rousted by plainclothes hoodlums who don't identify themselves like common thugs on an episode of Cops.
Donald Trump - according to a slip-up by US senator Ted Cruz during a contentious interview with right-wing news host Tucker Carlson - is helping Israel bomb Tehran in Iran. What's interesting is that Cruz, a one-time trump enemy, isn't advocating destroying Iran to protect America - but instead only to protect Trump!
Trump is trying to commandeer the United States military to do his personal bidding, unlawfully declaring he can bypass states' law and deploy the armed forces in all 50 states any time he chooses.
United States representatives on both sides, Republicans and Democrats alike, are acting powerless to curtail the actions of a man who really has no idea what the constitution - which hangs in a frame on his wall in The Oval Office - truly means.
U.S. tanks and military equipment are being moved within Europe, particularly to NATO member states like Poland, to bolster NATO's eastern defenses in response to ongoing tensions with Russia - which some believe Trump may authorize for use in Russia's battle with Ukraine, although there is no current intelligence or evidence to support this view.
While Trump supporters cheer his chaotic removal and detainment of immigrants - ALL of whom they believe are illegal, because Fox News trumpets Trump's bullshit - MAGA's Dear Leader seems to try burning the world down with each and every waking moment.
The Mess In The US being perpetuated today is one of the clearest examples of why we need to limit the power of the executive branch in the future and impose age restrictions on all candidates for our highest office.
See, when you have nearly 80-year-old men, embittered by time and life, given the opportunity for one last hurrah to rule the world, they essentially have a dead man's switch inside their chests:
They don't care what happens to the planet when their own tired, diseased hearts stop beating.
Want to hear MORE mess?
Well, it's ONLY Wednesday.
