In The Beginning There Was A Trump Named Noah
To hear Donald Trump tell it these days, everything good in the world happened only because of him. Everything bad, well, is bad because Trump wasn't here. Maybe a Trump is why the world is here?
OK, HAPPY WEEKEND, WORLD...
No matter how crazy things appear to you outside of these United States borders, have no fear, it's absolutely twice as batshit crazy in here! 🤣
Somehow, though, this is still allegedly the land of the free, Praise Trump!
While praising Trump, which seems to be the only thing acceptable to Our Dear Leader - who creates his own version of reality wherever he goes - I'm reminded that not one of the people in his entire orbit has the balls (men) or intestinal fortitude (women) to tell this man he is wrong about ANYTHING!
NOBODY.
I got a little taste of this covering NBA players like Stephon Marbury, who loved me as a kid, but once he made money and joined the New Jersey Nets, whom I covered for The New York Daily News, the dude became a nightmare.
Same with my one-time great friend, Stephen A. Smith of ESPN fame, who looks like he's going to force me to dedicate my life to making sure he never gets serious consideration for the presidency of the United States come 2028.
Back in the day when we covered high school sports together at The News, well, Stevie No Wonder - as I called him - was a little over the top with an outsized opinion of himself, but that was cool. He was fun.
Years later, though, after becoming a media star in Philadelphia - because he couldn't get past a certain sportswriter who was a little better at the profession in Steve's NYC hometown (ME, Dat's right! 🤣) - he turned into a different animal:
He became arrogant, full of hubris, me-centric, and so self-consumed that he never realized the toxic effect on a staff when their boss starts off morning meetings as a 5-year-old would throwing a tantrum, with "I ain't happy about [insert blank]."
Like, who the F does that?
Stephen A. Smith did.
And, over time, everyone in Stephen A's orbit was subject to the opinion of what Stephen A. Smith thought of them - which was a huge mistake he made with me.
This is a bit of what you see with and in Donald Trump.
Powerful and influential men fall into the unmistakable pit of believing because they have "made it," their way MUST be the right way.
Donald Trump's megalomania, possibly coupled with dementia, however, is simply next level.
As you saw with the video I shared of Trump holding court in Texas following a flood where more than 100 people died and 100 are still missing, this "man" made the whole thing about him.
From the moment he shat all over a reporter for asking a question about the federal government’s slow response to the catastrophe - a question Trump himself would have demanded answered by Joe Biden if he were still around, or Kamala Harris, if he and Elon Musk hadn't stolen the 2024 election - the bullying began.
And from there, every narrative that was supposed to be about one of the worst tragedies in Texas in years became about saluting Trump and his version of reality.
We ended up hearing how he does so politically well in Texas to how because of him everybody had cheap eggs for Easter to how this flood was a once-in-500 to 1,000-year occurrence (who would know that?) to how EVERYTHING in America got better the moment Trump took his second oath of office on January 20, 2025.
Here's the thing:
Not one single person in that room challenged his assertion on ANYTHING.
Just as Trump was recently allowed a dog and pony show in a room full of cowed powerbrokers while Genocide Man, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, handed Trump a letter nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize for claiming he brought peace to the Middle East - as Netanyahu's soldiers were killing more Palestinians.
Not one "leader" in that room stood up to say, "With none of the customary all due respect, sirs, this is PREPOSTEROUS!"
Or whatever those kinds of guys say when they are pissed at having to deal with ridiculous shit.
And, if you've been watching, this is how it plays out everywhere Trump goes.
Nobody knows what to do while Donald Trump weaves a tapestry of insanity that envelops the entire room.
In his mind, he is responsible for everything good that has ever happened, which caused me to search for a connection to either how a Trump ancestor could have somehow facilitated The Big Bang to start the beginning of mankind - if you believe in evolution - or played a role in God's Earth-cleansing Great Flood - if you are of the religious persuasion.
I elected to create a story where a Trump ancestor, Noah Trump, a boat builder sometime B.C. or A.D. - I'm not sure how that works out when it comes to Trumps, because in their minds, NOTHING came before Trumps - anyway, Noah T. was charged by The Lord to build a huge ark and save the world.
A few thousand years later, Praise Trump, the world as you know it, turns.
And that's why we are all here today, and able to communicate with Facebook, which would not have been possible without Noah Trump, who begat some other Trumps, who begat Donald Trump, who begot Making America Great Again!
Whew! 😅
Got it?

As often is heard during times of great loss ...
How can God let this happen?
Perhaps those Trumpers will see the light and ask ..
How can our President let this happen?
Wishful thinking I know but maybe, just maybe, one will shift and talk to his friends, and they'll talk to their friends and so on and so on ...
His atrocities must be seen by all Americans.
