LA Burning Is Only Beginning For Trump
For the moment, it's only the national guard against angry Los Angles residents protesting the unlawful seizure and detainment of fellow citizens without due process. Tomorrow? The country burns.
OK, WORLD...
So, it only took four and a half months of chaos before Donald Trump finally has gotten what he's always wanted.
America on fire.
Oh, tonight, at this moment, it's only in Los Angeles, where angry crowds - many of whom are born and bred citizens of this country - are being repelled with tear gas and flash bang grenades by national guard troops wearing their very own flags on their sleeves.
For sure, Trump and his mouthpieces will call this civil unrest CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE, but he and they are wrong.
This IS obedience, because every citizen of The United States has an obligation to take to the streets to protest against the lawless and unlawful seizure and detainment of fellow citizens without due process.
What is being witnessed in Los Angeles, which has seen more than its fair share of wildfire this year, I predict, is only the first of many embers that will eventually engulf this entire nation.
Donald Trump, in his mad grab for power, will seek to control these conflagrations with more national guard soldiers and eventually other arms of the U.S. military, but he will find himself with a very serious problem:
There are more of us than there are of them.
What we are seeing today in the sprawling paradise of L.A. WILL be worse when these skirmishes start to take place in close quarters of more densely-populated cities like Detroit, Chicago or Philadelphia.
Then, we will be just ONE gunshot, ONE death - American on American violence - away from a national calamity and a civil war.
King Donald - who was cheered roundly last night by part of his still-sizable legions of supporters during an appearance at UFC 316 in New Jersey - has a rude awakening coming.
THIS is NOT what America voted for.
Soon, the man who started this unnecessary fire, will hear two of his favorite words:
"You're fired!"
Signed - US
Both administrations have seen civil unrest. America, wake up. He is the common denominator!
